A colourful string of white pom poms and festive snowmen, with a loop on each end for easy hanging, hand crafted by Fair Trade artisans. The perfect addition to your Christmas tree, mantelpiece, nursery or children’s bedroom. The felt is handmade from sustainable wool using traditional methods. Instead of weaving the wool, heat, moisture, and pressure are applied to entangle the fibres and create the beautiful material. Each garland measures approximately 200cm and can be hung with its loop attachments on each side. Due to the handmade nature of these products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard. Each garland comes in a cotton pouch. This product has been made by a fantastic Fair Trade group which established in 2000. Their factory is based in the foothills of Kathmandu and employs over 300 people, with more than 80% comprising of women from nearby villages. Their main objective is to develop traditional Nepali craft industries so they can improve the living standard of the artisans and their families from rural areas, through Fair Trade practises., Manufacturer: Paper High
