The bridge and middle pickups use Formvar wire paired with a plain enamel-wound neck pickup creating a blend of 50s and 60s-inspired tonal characteristics. A reverse-wound reverse-polarity middle pickup reduces unwanted hum in switch positions 2 and 4 making it easier to achieve classic in-between Strat sounds.
