These solid one-piece, splinter guards are transparent so as not to interfere with sighting the cutline. They fit the Festool PS 300, PSB 300 and Carvex jigsaws. As you make the initial cut, your jigsaw blade makes a slot in the guard exactly matching its kerf. This ensures zero clearance guaranteeing the cleanest cut possible. The splinter guard significantly improves the finished quality of the cut and eliminates time consuming clean up or re-work, even in tricky materials.
