Figuero Reserva 2020

One thousand is the starting point for the creation of Viñedos y Bodegas García. A thousand vines that José María García and Milagros Figuero received the year they got married in 1961. A clone of Tempranillo from pre-phylloxera vines that arrived from France in 1908 after the terrible invasive plague and which the newlyweds were able to take advantage of to give rise to their most personal project in their home village, La Horra, in Burgos (Castille and León). After years of cultivation to obtain a quality grape, in 2001, with the help of their children Carlos, Henar and Antonio, they finally saw their dream of making their own wines come true. Figuero Reserva is the result of this dream come true. Figuero Reserva comes from old vines over 60 years old planted in clayey, sandy and gravelly soils.
