Finerfilters 10 Litre Pressurised Reverse Osmosis Water Storage TankThis tank is designed to be used with a Reverse Osmosis system, with a holding capacity of 10 litres.The tank also contains a rubber bladder, which is kept at around 10PSI to allow the water to be drawn.Water is stored in the bladder, which is made of a material called butyl. When there is a demand for water, the water is pushed out of the tank's bladder by air pressure. Once the tank has been depleted to a certain level, and pressure is released from the tank, the auto shut off valve on the RO system senses this and starts to produce water to refill the tank.The water you're going to drink doesn't touch the material that the tank is made from - Except for the spout, which is food grade polypropylene on most modern tanks.
