The Fizik Transiro Hydra Cycling Shoes are designed for use in triathlon events. Designed for easy transitions, they are constructed with a breathable shell and a moderately stiff nylon outsole that combines comfort and pedalling efficiency. The 3D mesh of the cover, in addition to providing constant ventilation, allows for superior comfort for those triathletes who prefer to pedal without socks. For quick transitions, the Hydra is made with a single velcro strap. In addition, the wrap-around strap provides the strong foot support athletes need to be efficient in any running situation.The R5 nylon sole offers comfort and a moderate level of stiffness for efficient pedalling. In addition, the cleat position is set slightly further back than in traditional settings to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression.
