No. 89 is a woody Aromatic fragrance for men, launched by Floris back in 1951. The fragrance has top notes of Lavender, Bergamot, Orange, Neroli, Petitgrain and Nutmeg; middle notes of Rose, Geranium and Ylang-Ylang; and base notes of Oakmoss, Musk, Sandalwood, Vetiver and Virginia Cedar. The fragrance is very much a classical British men's cologne, but it's still a popular one, and is a very clean, fresh scent that's truly inoffensive. The Nutmeg note is the standout one, with the citruses also playing a major role before the floral notes and fantastic clean dry down. This is not only a wonderful clean scent, but also a hugely versatile one, suitable year round and great for the office. In this balm format, the balm it's self also eases shaving, moisturises, and helps to prevent razor burn and skin irritation.
