With its original Bauhaus design, the Kaiser Idell series is built around the world-patented ball joint (1930), as well as the very well-known lampshade, which has a very special characteristic for the Kaiser Idell lamp. On top of the characteristic lamp top is the engraving with "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell". All Kaiser Idell lamps are made of steel and brass, while the shades are hand-lacquered in high-gloss or mat paint. All the chrome-plated parts on the lamp are made of hand-polished and silver-brazed brass.
