Back then, German designer Christian Dell created a series of lights that are now manufactured by FRITZ HANSEN, the Danish lighting company founded in 1872, which was 75% acquired by Skandinavisk Holding in 1979 after being family-owned for a long time. Kaiser idell™ is designed in the legendary Bauhaus style and suits many contemporary interior styles. The beautiful pendant light with its wide lampshade made of matt lacquered steel is ideal for area lighting, e.g. above a dining table, as well as for general lighting in a room. The creator of the timelessly beautiful Kaiser idell™ series of lights, Christian Dell, comes from Germany. Born in Offenbach in 1893, he trained as a silversmith in Hanau from 1907 to 1911 and attended the drawing academy there.
