Global G-106 Special Edition 24cm Blade Kiritsuke Knife

The limited edition Global G-106 24cm Kiritsuke Knife was originally produced and presented to the 12 judges of the 2022 Roux Scholarship competition. Now Global have released a limited run of just 500 of these outstanding knives, allowing you to join esteemed chefs Michel Roux Jr. and Alain Roux in being able to own your own version of this knife. Many Japanese knife manufacturers produced a specialist knife with one-sided grinding known as 'Kiritsuke'. In many cases only the head chef of a Japanese restaurant was allowed to use one due to the considerable skill required to use it effectively. Global have fed off this tradition and engineered a double-edged version of the Kiritsuke as part of their Classic series. The end result is a highly versatile knife that can be used to perform most tasks normally done with a chef's knife (or Gyuto knife) and those of the Nakiri and Sujihiki.
