This Global GS-108UT 12cm Utility Knife is part of a new range of four utility knives in the Global GS range featuring a variety of edges on the 12cm blade. This plain edge utility knife is a great knife for everyday kitchen tasks such as peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables and for slicing and cutting cheese, meats and sandwiches. As with all Global GS knives, this utility knife is crafted from high quality Cromova18 stainless steel and ice hardened to Rockwell 56-58. The blade features an acute 15° cutting edge which holds its razor sharp edge for longer, yet is easily sharpened when required. The hollow handle is filled with sand to provide excellent balance whilst the classic Global dotted handle provides a secure grip. Smooth contours and seamless construction eliminate food or dirt traps, offering the ultimate in safety and hygiene.
