PRODUCER - González Byass was created in 1835 by Manuel Maria González and remains in family hands today, now in the fifth and sixth generation. Founded in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, in the heart of Sherry country, it is dedicated to the production of high-quality sherries. TASTING NOTES - This amontillado sherry shows a dark golden colour due to the extended time spent in cask. The wine has pronounced aromas and flavours of walnuts, dried fruits, roasted hazelnuts and leather. RARE OLD SOLERAS - Hand-crafted from the finest sun-ripened grapes, expertly blended and then matured in oak casks for a minimum of 30 years, the Rare Old Solera sherries are a true expression of some of the world’s finest and rarest wines.
