The shell is fitted with a lightning throw off - allowing you to drop the snare wires instantly for a quick change of timbre during a performance. Additionally 302 hoops and 42-strand snare wires give the Gretsch Full Range Grand Prix Snare the reliable and versatile punch in any mix. The shell exterior has a very light coating of lacquer protecting the shell from cosmetic damage such as bumps and scratches while on the road.
