Grey Salt of Guerande, 1kg

Guérande salt is softer on the palate and richer in flavour which makes it the salt that cooks prefer for salting stocks and the water used for cooking vegetables, and also for barbecues and meat and fish cooked in a salt crust. Unwashed, unrefined and additive-free, it adds flavour to traditional family cooking. At the end of his career in successive evaporation ponds where seawater is concentrated in 280g of salt per liter of water, BIG SALT crystallizes in the form of large cubic crystals which are deposited on the bottom CLAY carnations. It is harvested manually with a "tired", crystal roll on the clay bottom of the eyelet, which gives the Gros Sel Guérande slightly gray color and its taste and its rich : Minerals Calcium magnesium (up to 780mg per 100g depending on the year and the harvest area) and trace elements, iron, zinc, selenium etc ....
