Ground Roasted Rice or known by Thai people as Khao Khua, is a common ingredient that is often seen in Issan - northeastern Thailand cuisine and Laos. Khao Khua is roasted rice fried in a pan with heat, but no oil. Ground Roasted Rice is an ingredient which adds a deep, smoky, roasted, crunchy, and irresistible nutty flavour in Thai dishes such as Spicy Salads, Meat Salads (Nam-Tok), Labb, and well-known Thai chilli dipping sauces, Nam Jim Jaew. Made and carefully selected from high-quality Thai rice, one of the best countries that specialise in rice cultivation. For dishes, just add 1 - 2 spoons of rice and stir them together.
