The soft curve of the backrest gently crosses the graceful lines of the wooden chair to create a silhouette that is at once futuristic and timeless. The chair was originally created out of necessity to fit into the new sizes of houses built at the end of World War II, where Gascoin compensated for the lack of space by creating a simple, functional design. GUBI's outdoor version of the C-Chair is a rethinking of the stunning design. In this outdoor version, the classic silhouette is made of durable and naturally durable teak, weather-resistant braid of HDPE wicker and stainless steel screws that ensure a long life and an extremely durable material choice.
