Gräshoppa designer floor lamp with adjustable head - a design icon by Greta Magnusson Grossman The Gräshoppa floor lamp's slightly tilted tripod base gives it a lively touch, making it a trendy interior accessory for many living areas. Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999) studied at the renowned Konstfack art school in Stockholm and opened her own studio in 1933 - a combination of shop and workshop. After marrying jazz musician Billy Grossman, she moved to California in 1940, opened a shop on the famous Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles and was one of the first to bring modern Scandinavian style to North America.
