Multi-Lite designer pendant Multi-Lite - Chrome frame This pendant luminaire is something very special: its shade consists of metal elements that can be slid around the central cylinder in different ways, so that a completely individual configuration with light emission upwards, downwards or asymmetrically can be created at any time. The creative mastermind behind this fascinating possibility of home lighting is Louis Weisdorf (*1932), a well-known Danish architect and designer. After graduating from the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1954, he devoted himself to industrial, graphic and interior design and worked in a wide range of fields, including the leisure sector and construction. For ten years, he worked as chief assistant to the chief architect Simon P. Henningsen (son of the legendary lighting designer Poul Henningsen) at the Copenhagen amusement park Tivoli.
