The Handy 122cm (48in) Plug Aerator is made from black powder coated steel and is suitable for towing by your garden tractor. It has a convenient weight tray that will enable you to add weight as required for optimum performance. The 32 replaceable hollow core tines will penetrate your grass area by up to 3", with a 122cm (48") working width. The THTPA40 aerator has been equipped with 25cm (10") pneumatic tyres for easy transportation and a single cantilevered handle allows you to quickly adjust from working to transportation. The best time to use the aerator is when the turf has a high moisture content - using the tow-behind plug aerator will allow air, moisture and nutrients access to the grasses root system, while reducing the compaction of the soil.
