It connects to the baby gate using two included metal connectors and is then installed securely between a door frame or staircase with the gate’s adjusting screws. With a maximum of two extensions (one per side), the Hauck safety gate can fit openings of either 84-89 cm or 93-98 cm. The extension is also compatible with the Y spindle adapter (sold separately), making it suitable for round stair railings.
