Umami is the key flavour of Black Garlic and is created through a long and slow cooking procedure over 6 weeks, with nothing added other than heat and moisture - The harsh heat of the garlic turns to sugar as it caramelises and becomes black and sticky. From a small range of 2-3 products, we now have 100 imaginative and great tasting products that are still made by hand using traditional open pans and are free from Nuts, Gluten, Additives and Preservatives as well as all being suitable for Vegetarians.
