Design: Inga Sempé for HAY, 2021 Concept: The Matin the wall light combines old craftsmanship with modern design and is at once visually delicate and physically robust. The beautiful pleated cotton shade is available in a variety of vibrant colors, while the steel wire frame is made of polished brass. The lampshade can be angled around 45 degrees up and down, so that it spreads an ambient upward light or a more direct downward light, which provides opportunities for a cozy lighting in the living room or to light more of the room up in the bedroom. The integrated LED lightbulb provides a comfortable diffused light that can be turned up and down using a built-in dimmer.
