The outer ring consists of COBs (Chip On Board). The new LED chip embedding for high-performance LEDs achieves a very high luminance with currently the best possible efficiency and service life. In addition, higher light values can be achieved than with conventional LEDs. This combination is supplied with a black anodised aluminium ring that fits over the base body.
