HOLYROOD DISTILLERY: Holyrood Distillery was established in 2019 in the centre of Edinburgh’s historic old town. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to distilling, inspired by Edinburgh’s rich brewing history. AMBIR: A harmonious balance of sweet malts, and fruity yeasts, wrapped in a blanket of warming, spicy vanilla from bourbon barrels. A deliciously sticky and sweet single malt expression, made using our knowledge of specialty malts and yeasts. 4 SPECIALTY MALTS: Chocolate malt, Vienna malt, Crystal 240 and Caramalt come together to make this sweet and flavoursome modern whisky. Showcasing a blend of old and new- symbolised in the name 'Ambir' taken from old Scots. SWEET SCOTTISH FLAVOUR: 'A love letter to sweet, Scottish tastebuds', this is your after dinner drink, it's one to relish, with vanilla and creamy fudge, if you have a wee bit of a sweet tooth you may struggle to put it down. TASTING NOTES: On the nose is caramel, creamy fudge, Demerara sugar, Scottish tablet. A palate of red fruits, vanilla and cornflakes. The finish brings biscuit velvet texture, mouth watering, with a hint of savoury at the end.
