The Hope Tech 4 V4 rear disc brake builds on more than 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of hydraulic brakes. The Tech 4 model uses a completely new internal seal to reduce friction and the lever pivots on bearings, minimising spring work, resulting in a lighter lever action that reduces rider fatigue and maintains its legendary modulation and feel.The updated V4 caliper uses hybrid-style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert that allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while still being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.
