Ilegal Reposado Mezcal

This is a delicious Reposado Mezcal from the Ilegal company. It's distilled at Destileria Tlacolula in Oaxaca, Mexico, and is double distilled in copper stills. It's then aged in American oak before bottling. This was awarded a Gold Medal at the Tequila.net Awards. Ilegal Joven Mezcal is one example of the brand?s great drink variety. It is distilled from fermented Espadín agaves. This type of agave is the genetic predecessor of the blue agave, the traditional basis of tequila.
