A triple distilled, blended whiskey Jameson has a light floral fragrance, peppered with spicy wood and sweet notes.:Good balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes, with the spirit aged in both sherry and bourbon casks. John Jameson founded the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin in 1780. It is now produced in Cork under the auspice of Pernod Ricard. A little known fact is that Mr Jameson married the sister of the brothers who went on to set up the Haig Distillery. Spicy, nutty and smooth.
