Joey Tensley's journey into the world of wine unfolds almost like a coming-of-age tale. At the tender age of twelve, during a football team's visit to a winery in France for a tournament, he first experienced the enchantment of winemaking. It was then he knew he aspired to become a winemaker. Years later, that inquisitive boy evolved into a winemaker who learned from California's finest and cultivated a profound appreciation for the uniqueness of Santa Barbara County (USA), a region with distinctive terroirs and immense growth potential. In 1998, Joey and his wife Jennifer Tensley established their winery in the picturesque coastal village of Los Olivos, a hidden gem of the Central Coast. Since then, their focus has been unwavering: to seek out specific terroirs and harvest grapes from small, meticulously chosen vineyards, beyond the general labels. The family's passion, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have elevated Tensley to one of the premier family-run wineries in
