The Julbo Shield glasses are designed for hiking. Their all-terrain design includes high protection, improved field of vision and, in general, gives the user perfect vision. The curved temples are non-slip and the nose is designed with the Julbo Nose Grip system so that movement doesn't cause the glasses the slip. They also have an Air Flow ventilation system and removable side shields to prevent light radiation to improve comfort and security and keep the field of vision clear. This model has Alti Arc 4 lenses with level 4 protection, which translates to a visible light transmission of 7%, meaning these glasses are not recommended for driving. They have an infrared filter and are treated with Flash which gives them a mirrored effect to avoid vision being affected by rays. These lenses are recommended for high mountain sports and expeditions.
