The traction of NANOspikes footwear is designed for a safe transition between dry and slippery pavement, while providing high performance road runners who require training outdoors all year round. POINTED DESIGN - 10 foot tips with built-in tungsten carbide tips grab icy surfaces and are held in place with a lightweight aluminum anchor surrounded by a TPU cleat for maximum traction and shock absorption. ADDITIONAL FEATURES - Dual Compound TPU offers wear resistance and flexibility with a soft outer compound that aids snow release, while a rigid inner compound disperses force against the sole of footwear. Upward-facing traction ensures that the traction plates stay in place. ELASTIC HARNESS & REINFORCED EYELETS - Using a patented eyelet design, durable TPU inserts reinforce key stress points, allowing the elastomer harness to be strong but lightweight.
