Alongside the display the pitch indicators show whether you are sharp or flat of the exact pitch Select from three levels of tuning accuracy as your skill improves: Easy, Medium and Hard The VTP-1 also generates tones for you to sing back so you can practice pitching in tune with a given note. This can be heard through the speaker or via headphones The VPT-1 is tuned to 12 note equal temperament. The Sound Out functions has a 5 Octave range and the Sound Back function can determine sung notes over a 6 Octave range
