L'Abrunet de Frisach Rosat 2024

Joan and Francesc Ferré are brothers and descendants of a farming family from Corbera d'Ebre (Tarragona) who grew almond trees and vineyards. Their father and grandfather, like many other winegrowers, had always sold their grapes to a cooperative. In their case they would sell to the big wineries in the area until one year, without warning, this significant buyer told them they would no longer be able to do business with them. What happens now with all the grapes we have, what if we make our own wine? And that is how Celler Frisach came to be. This winery is currently run by the Ferré brothers and has become one of the most representative of the D.O. Terra Alta. Here, they produce L’Abrunet de Frisach Rosat, a rosé that also comes directly from the question: what if we make the most of all the opportunities this land gives us?
