DESIGN: The LAICA Stream Line water filter jug has a total capacity of 2.3 litres and a filtered water capacity of 1.2 litres, and is designed to fit comfortably inside most refrigerator doors. The jug comes supplied with 6 x 30 day water filter cartridge. Additional filter cartridges are available separately IMPROVED TASTE, PURE WATER: LAICA filtering systems help improve the taste of tap water by eliminating any unwanted substances that may be present, whilst preserving the mineral salts useful to the body naturally present in tap water. LAICA filter cartridges are designed and manufactured in Italy to provide the best filtering with the highest level of quality and safety PURIFICATION: LAICA bi-flux water filter cartridges consist of silver-plated active carbon and ion exchange resins. Active carbons are effective in reducing chlorine and derivatives. Ion exchange resins are effective in reducing heavy metals present in tap water. The bi-flux cartridge reduces unwanted substances such as: heavy metals, chlorine, chemical contaminants, some pesticides and chlorinated herbicides and trihalomethanes where present in the mains water. FILTER CAPACITY: Each LAICA bi-flux water filter cartridge can filter up to 150 litres of water, about 1 months supply, and, like all the components of the filter cartridge, are fully traceable to further guarantee the product’s quality and safety.
