The distillery team was given free rein to create something unexpected, embodying the classic Laphroaig profile while also adding new dimensions. The distillery typically uses semi-cloudy wort to achieve its classic combo of fruity, smoky character, but here the team opted for using a 50/50 combo of fully and semi-cloudy wort, amping up those tropical notes and phenols to new heights.*UK and retail only.
