Las Olvidadas comes from the Santa Cruz de Guarilihue vineyard, where the old País and San Francisco vines are blended. 2019 was a dry vintage in Itata with mild acidity. The grapes fermented together after being de-stemmed by hand, without any additions. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was barrel aged for 18 months. This is a wine with very characteristic aromas of red fruit, herbs and the earthy notes typical of these varieties. The palate is medium-bodied with superb intensity of fruit, tannins that provide a robust structure and vibrant acidity.
