However the Champagne house truly blossomed soon after the Second World War. Much of the credit for Laurent-Perrier’s success must be laid at the feet of firstly Marie-Louise de Nonacourt who ensured the business survived the war and then Bernard de Nonacourt (Marie’s son) who oversaw the expansion.
