That's because the built-in woofer delivers impressive bass but is actually mostly known for supple mids and detailed highs, while the Waveguide tweeter proves it works just as well on this passive STINGER 8 as it does on its active counterparts, ensuring optimum projection with minimum reflection from, for instance, the ceiling.
