These components are abrasion resistant, puncture and tear resistant. The insole is anti-compression for added comfort. It is also equipped with an activated carbon to limit perspiration, odours and bacteria. The shoe has been covered in synthetic leather as well as synthetic suede with a water-repellent coating. An air and water seal membrane has been added to this shoe. The internal structure prevents the heel from lifting, which holds the heel in place. The protection of the malleoli is provided by a protective heel and toe insert.
