Utilising IP connectivity ensures a low cost scalable extension solution that can be easily setup for a variety of small or larger scale scenarios.<br /><br />The Lindy HDMI & IR over IP receiver is a supplementary solution for extending HDMI signals across greater distances via a local network setup and creating scalable IP installations by using multiple receivers when combined with 38398 and network equipment. As a point to point connection the extender supports distances up to 150m using Cat.6 cable or when combined with a network switch can be expanded for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment.
