Lochlea Harvest Edition Third Crop Whisky (2024)

Harvest Edition (Third Crop) has been double matured in refill bourbon barrels and port hogsheads, alongside an oloroso sherry butt. Lochlea’s tasting notes: “This whisky opens with notes of bright red grapes, fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream. On the palate sweeter notes of baked apple pie and white chocolate appear. It then finishes with a beautiful balance of savoury cracked black pepper.” Lowland single malt Scotch whisky distillery Lochlea returns with the third and final edition of its seasonal Harvest Edition release. Third Crop coincides with the whisky-makers sixth birthday too, making it a double celebration!
