NON-FORTIFIED RICHNESS: Our non-fortified nutritional yeast flakes have only one ingredient: organic nutritional yeast - nothing else! No added vitamins or minerals. Organic yeast flakes aka "nooch", is rich in B complex vitamins, high in Folate and Pantothenic acid + a good source of umami flavour CHEESY NOTES: LOOV's light beige, organic, inactive yeast flakes have nice texture and a mild, savory, toasted and cheesy taste. Organic nutritional yeast flakes are grown and processed from primary yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Our primary ingredient in the growth medium is organic molasses. The organic yeast is roller dried to form homogeneous flakes and then toasted USE ANYWHERE: Deactivated yeast flakes (which can't be used for breadmaking) are a good source of fiber and high-quality, plant-based proteins that assimilate easily. Nutrional yeast can be used by itself or as an ingredient in vegan food such as spreads, plant-based proteins, soups, or sauces. Consume directly, sprinkle on popcorn or snacks, use in baked goods, top salads, soups, stews, or add to smoothies. Nooch is very tasty on air-fried kale chips for example GOOD STORAGE IS KEY: Nutritional yeast is low in carbohydrates and fat while still being high in protein and fiber.
