Los Frailes Blanc de Trilogía 2025

2004 saw a turning point with Los Frailes Trilogía, their first red wine (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Monastrell). With this wine, they were able to demonstrate that elegant wines can also be made in the southeast of Spain. Its freshness, structure and finesse stood María José and Miguel Velázquez in very good stead. This pair are siblings and the 13th generation to run the Casa los Frailes winery in the D.O. Valencia (specifically in Vals dels Alforins). Now, the siblings are back again with Frailes Blanc de Trilogía, the white version of this successful range made from Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdil. These three varieties are grown in the Viña de la Era, a 10-hectare vineyard planted at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level on extremely calcareous soils with fine, sandy silts.
