M8A - STEP DOWN VOLTAGE CONVERTER Transformer 240V TO 120V 100W USA TO UK Adapter

Cheapest offer

These converters are designed for use with units in places where a different mains voltage is supplied than that required by the appliance. They are useful for units bought in the USA or in Far East for use in Europe or vice versa (only applicable to units fitted with a 230/110V input/output selector switch). These converters allow using units up to 1000VA max. This will then in turn blow both our 45 and 100 watt converters even though the straighteners display a 35 or 70 watt rating. You need to consider how many watts your transformer is providing. The more wattage required by the electrical item(s), the bigger the transformer will need to be. Add up all the watts that every one of the components will draw that will be turned on at the same time, then multiply by about 1.25 for good measure, and that is about the size you need. So if you have three components drawing 30 watts each, get a transformer than delivers about 115 watts. DO NOT try to draw more than what the transformer provides: you will be risking the health of you and your electronic components! Note: The output voltage is half the input voltage This converter is NOT compatible with hair straightener. Hair straighteners heat up quickly by drawing an initial higher wattage (around 200 watts).
