Macán 2020 - Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia

Macán is a single-variety Tempranillo red wine produced by the Benjamín de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia winery in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. The Benjamín de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia winery is located northeast of Samaniego, in Rioja Alavesa, in a place called San Millán. The architecture of the winery fits in with the landscape as a sign of respect and sensitivity to the environment. It is made up of three separate warehouses, each of them home to a part of the winemaking process: production, aging and dispatch, and named after the basic elements of nature: water, earth and sun. All work in the Benjamín de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia winery is carried out sustainably. A statement of intent! Macán is made with grapes from vineyards over 30 years old that are harvested with the utmost care to ensure the integrity of the bunches.
