MaD Cameras 67mm R95 IR Infrared Photography Filter, 950nm Pass Special Effect Filter for SLR/DSLR Camera

67mm R95 INFRARED IR CAMERA FILTER : This specialised IR lens filter blocks visible light while allowing infrared wavelengths around 950nm to pass through to the camera sensor creating eerie black and white shots with great textures. COMPATIBILITY: This filter is designed to work on a standard DSLR / SLR and does NOT require a converted model to work. However, some camera models will have better effects than others due to the varying camera sensors model to model. It’s a threaded 67mm circular filter which simply screws onto the front of your lens as usual. SET UP : This filter will appear black / very dark red to the naked eye as it does not allow much visible light to pass. Special care is required when setting up your shot in order to achieve the best results. For the best results: use a Tripod and a long exposure. I would recommend using a shutter release button / remote. EDITING: RAW / NEF Images if shot in colour will appear a dark red / purple until converted into black and white, however it is advised to shoot in B&W with white balance settings adjusted. For the best results some editing is required to get the best out of your IR camera filter EXPERIMENT! : These filters are fantastic fun to experiment with. If you don’t achieve the desired result right away, try altering your cameras white balance settings, exposure times and ISO settings. Be patient, IR photography requires a bit of practice but the results can be stunning once you get that perfect shot! Thank you.
