Maria Rigol Ordi Brut Nature is a cava made by Caves Maria Rigol Ordi in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, D.O. Cava. Caves Maria Rigol Ordi was created in 1987, when Maria Rigol Ordi, missing her long family tradition (her grandfather already made cava, the "xampany" of the time, in 1897), decided to start a small production in the winery of his house in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, alongside her son Francesc Manobens Rigol. Caves Maria Rigol Ordi chooses to make a quality product with the traditional varieties of Penedés, using long ageing. To do so, they select winegrowers from the area, which allows them to capture the essence and wealth of this unique territory. The end result are cavas of great personality and uniqueness, made with the latest technology, but always faithful to the classic production methods.
