Add Marshalls Garden Barberry (Berberis) 'Orange Rocket' to borders or containers for striking, colour-changing foliage and spring flowers. Leaves emerge orange-coral in spring, deepen to wine-red through summer and turn dark red in autumn, while small yellow blooms appear in April and May. Upright, low-maintenance shrub grows to around 1200 mm, thrives in sun, part shade or shade, prefers moist to damp soils and will also do well in rich, moist-to-wet container compost; fully hardy in the UK (H5). Supplied in a 9cm pot and delivered to your door. Plant at the same depth as in the pot, water well on planting and keep watered and fed while establishing; trim in summer if required.
