Marshalls Garden Malling Centenary is an early main-season strawberry bred for superior flavour and appearance compared with Elsanta. It produces large, very uniform, glossy scarlet fruits with high sugar levels, a sweet taste and firm texture. Shortlisted for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2013, Malling Centenary yields abundant summer harvests (June to July) from a compact perennial (0.1-0.5 m) ideal for pots, patios, small gardens, borders and raised beds. Supplied as PREMIUM bare roots, these runners can produce up to 10 flower stalks in year one with 6+ fruits per stalk, giving around 3-4 times more fruit than traditional runners. Prefers fertile, well-drained, organic-rich soil with pH 5.5-6.8.
