Mateus Rosé Sparkling Brut 75 ase of 3)

Made from the Baga grape, the most widely planted in the Bairrada region of Portugal, blended with Shiraz. The grapes are harvested early; whilst the acidity is bright and tannins less developed, a secondary fermentation in tank adds sparkle to the wine. Pale, rose-petal-pink; the wine shows aromas of apple, pear and raspberry with notes of toasted bread. Rose made from Baga and Shiraz from Mateus west of Porto Best served with aperitif snack, desserts, fruit. Also excellent on its own
