PLAIN ALL PURPOSE. Matthews mills this plain flour from a blend of the highest quality soft wheats, to produce a fine consistency, rich in flavour. This flour can be used for making pastry, cakes, shortbreads, sauces and many more delicious sweet and savoury products. MILLING & GRAIN PROVENANCE. We source our soft wheat from our local Cotswold Grain Partnership. The fields surrounding the mill are great for soft wheat flour. We prepare our grain in 100-year-old pine wood bins before milling. Soft wheats are best for culinary flour like Plain Flour, Pastry Flour, Cake Flour and Self-Raising Flour. All of our flour is unbleached flour. PERFECT FOR.
